About Birraleegal Goondi
Birraleegal Goondi is an Aboriginal identified preschool located on the lands of the Gamilaroi people.
We are located on the grounds of Walgett Community College Primary School, providing access to additional learning opportunities such as the library, language and culture rooms.
We provide an early intervention program for 3 years olds, and a 4 year old preschool program ensuring the best start to formal education in Walgett.
Birraleegal Goondi works closely with local support services to ensure all children have early access to support services, maximising their future potential.
Health & Safety
At Birraleegal Goondi, we prioritize the health and safety of every child. Our facilities are designed to provide a secure and nurturing environment, ensuring that each child can explore, learn, and play with confidence.
Our staff are qualified local community members who bring culture and community connection to children's' learning experiences.
All staff are experienced and screened to ensure children are safe and secure. Casual staff are drawn from our main school site to ensure children are cared for by familiar adults.
