School Principal
Alison is the principal for both the preschool and the primary school. Alison has both Early Childhood and Primary Teaching qualifications.
Alison has raised three children with a range of educational needs and understands how important a successful start to education is.
Classroom Teacher
Stephanie is the early childhood teacher at Birraleegal Goondi. Steph is also a qualified primary teacher working towards her preschool equivalent qualifications.
Stephanie is also a mother who understands the trust parents place in her each and every day.
Senior Educator
Barbara has extensive experience in early childhood education. She holds a certificate 3 in Early Childhood Services. Barbara is a local community member who brings a wealth of cultural knowledge to our school.
Barbara is a grandmother who brings extensive experience in raising children in Walgett's remote locality and the challenges this brings.
Educator
Michelle is working towards her certificate 3 in Early Childhood Services. She is local community member and is raising her family in Walgett.
Michelle demonstrates patience, empathy and creativity when working with children, ensuring positive relationships are built.
SWAY speech therapists from the Royal Far West Hospital provide one on one speech therapy for targeted children through their online program.
All children are able to access the Sounds, Words and Yarning program. This program is designed to develop children's phonics skills prior to entering formal education.
